Globalización, migración y tráfico de mujeres en México

A partir de la globalización el flujo migratorio femenino ha invadido todas las culturas del mundo. Existe una demanda tanto de mujeres como de hombres migrantes; sin embargo estos últimos posiblemente ocuparán los empleos más calificados y mejor remunerados. Las mujeres, por otra parte, se verán constreñidas a ocupaciones tradicionalmente femeninas como las tareas domésticas, sectores de servicios
(camareras, etc.) y trabajo sexual. La presente investigación intenta analizar el flujo de tráfico de mujeres en México en el contexto de la globalización y migración.

Globalization, migration and women traffic in Mexico

Women migration has invaded every culture of the world in the wake of globalization. There is a demand for migrant men as well as women. However, men will probably occupy the highest skilled and better paid jobs. On the other hand, women will be limited to traditionally feminine occupations such as domestic labor, service positions (maids, etc.) and sexual employment. This research will try to analyze the flow of women traffic in Mexico within the globalization and migration context.
