FUNCIONALISMO Y RECONFIGURACIÓN SOCIAL
Una revisión crítica de la sociología de Talcott Parsons

El trabajo analiza el enfoque de Talcott Parsons a la luz de las reconfiguraciones sociales. En dos puntos se abordan los postulados clave de la obra de este teórico de la sociología de los Estados Unidos. En el primero se trazan los elementos fundamentales de su tesis sociológica, enfocándose a los tres niveles de análisis clave: los imperativos, los subsistemas internos del sistema de acción, y los ambientes de la comunidad societal. En el segundo punto se detalla con precisión el concepto de cambio social del funcionalismo de Parsons. Y, finalmente, a la luz de las nuevas reconfiguraciones de lo social y cultural, se aborda la crítica a esos postulados.

FUNCTIONALISM AND SOCIAL RECONFIGURATION
A critical review of Talcott Parsons’ Sociology

This document analyzes under the light of social reconfigurations the Talcott Parsons’ point of view. In two sections, the key work postulates of this theoretician for the Sociology of the United States are approached. In the first, the fundamental elements of his sociological thesis are outlined, focusing at the three levels of its essential analysis: the imperatives, the internal subsystems of the action, and the environments of the societal community. In the second, it is accurately detailed the concept of Parsons’social change functionalism. Finally, under the light of the new social and cultural reconfigurations, a critical analysis to these postulates is approached.
