CRÍTICA A LA TEORÍA SOCIAL CLÁSICA

El trabajo propone un análisis de las tres posturas críticas a la teoría social clásica. La primera, la teoría posmoderna, centra su análisis crítico al núcleo de los valores presentados por la sociedad occidental y celebra la complejidad cultural y social que emerge con la globalización; la segunda, la teoría reflexiva, trata este proceso como una extensión de la segunda fase de la modernidad/modernización en la cual las fronteras de la sociedad industrial son amenazadas por los nuevos movimientos transnacionales, generando lo que Ulrick Beck denomina la “modernidad reflexiva” y, la tercera, el globalismo, intenta explicar la globalización y sus fenómenos como riesgos, incertidumbres y desafíos absolutamente diferente a épocas anteriores.

CRITIC TO THE CLASSIC SOCIAL THEORY

This work proposes an analysis of the three critical postures from the classical social theory. The first, the postmodern theory, centers its critical analysis on the nucleus of the values presented by the western society and celebrates the cultural and social complexity that emerges with globalization. The second, the reflexive theory, treats this process as an extension of the second phase of the modernity/modernization in which the frontiers of the industrial society are threatened by the new transnational movements, generating what Ulrick Beck denominates the “reflexive modernity”. And, the third, the so-called globalism, intents to explain the globalization and their phenomena as risks, uncertainities and challenges absolutely different from previous times.
