Adiós Carandiru

El artículo aborda la discusión sobre la disciplina, la sociedad del control y la supuesta connotación de alguna forma de crítica social al “orden” legitimado por la dinámica de la modernidad. Analizando brevemente el incitante film Carandiru (Estados Unidos-Brasil, 2003), del director Héctor Babenco, el autor delinea algunas características que actualmente adquiere la regla social y el cambio de perspectivas en las sociabilidades que pasan a actuar, aparentemente, a partir de una transición de una sociedad disciplinada hacia una del control. Viraje interesante, que advierte el juego sociocultural que lanza a nuestras sociabilidades al escepticismo, la contingencia, la multiplicidad de escenarios sociales y los posibles espacios y destinos de la crítica bajo situaciones eventualmente posmodernas.

Essay on critic, rules and social order

This paper approaches the discussion about discipline, the control society and the supposed connotation of some sort of social critics towards the “order” legitimized by the mo-dern dynamic. Briefly analysing the provocative film Carandiru (USA-Brazil, 2003), by the director Hector Babenco, the author delineates some characteristics that nowadays take on social rules and the change of perspective in the sociability in which it acts, apparently, from the transition of a disciplined society to a control society. An interesting turn that shows the social-cultural game which throws our sociability into scepticism, contingency, multiplicity of the social scenes and to the possible spaces and destinations of the critic eventually under post-modern situations.
